Covid-19 v My City by KaL MichaeL

I am proud of my city and the actions we have taken to respond to the threat of COVID-19. The communication from informed sources continues to come and we are doing our best to take the correct action in stopping the spread of this virus. I trust that we will stand together against this common enemy as a country united. We are at war with the Coronavirus!
Unfortunately, the results of doing the right thing leads to most of us (especially small businesses, service workers, freelancers and non-salary employees) devastatingly affected. Pausing rent, mortgage, taxes and utility payments for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic would relieve financial pressure and aid to avoiding an eminent national financial disaster. Following the same example set by France and Italy’s mandate to suspend rent, mortgage, taxes and utility payments during this time is the right move to make.
